My 2018 bone stock Tacoma came from the factory with manual keys. I just purchased a key fob off the web. Can I program it with just my manual key ??

    Thanks

Assuming you're asking if there's a sequence to program it without a scantool. Unfortunately no; you need a scantool capable of key programming to do either physical key or smartkey (push button). I have programmed both types with Techstream. Usually a local locksmith can do programming and cutting the key.

OP, chances are your TACO doesn't have the required receiver.

Caribe, how is it that no matter what electrical question someone has, you have actual photos of every component and connector no matter where it is? What sorcery is this?
