I'm a retired cop...so nope. I'd hope my brothers and sisters in blue/brown would have better things to do...but there's always "that guy" in every profession.

I bolted up the ARB twin to the desert does it seat mount. Then I picked up a couple add a fuse taps (hopefully I got the right ones) and some 14 awg to extend the wires to the fuse panel/battery. I still need to order some 10 awg to extend the main harness to the battery, an extended fuse cover and probably more tesa tape. The Auxbeam AR-800 is waiting on a power tray before it can be installed. Also, waiting on selective yellow SS3 Pro ditch lights. It's slowing coming together though.

i think you expertly evaded the question!

all that radio gear indicates you've got a little more wherewithal than you say, and the ziptied radio adapter indicates you're more industrious than you think as well!

Nice setup. I’m only running one Fuse Tap and I stuck with the same type (low profile) as the OEM fuses. Not sure if it makes a difference, but I like these. I ordered off eBay.

And it’s nice having the meso Extended Fuse Cover when it comes to adding the Fuse Taps.

Thanks! I like those low profile taps. Amazon has them along with the 10 awg I need. :spending:

What's your plan for wiring up the compressor? Are you going to use the AuxBeam instead of the ARB switch but still use their relay or are you going to straight to the Auxbeam or not use the AB all together? I ask because I have the AuxBeam AR-800 as well, but a single compressor. Was thinking of just using the AB in place of the ARB switch...although I suspect the AB should be able to handle it. Curious to see what you come up with.

Out with the old.. For some reason I only got about 25k miles out of my SPC's before one of the ball joints started going bad. Hoping these Dobinson's last longer, they were too damn expensive!

Thanks! The recessed letters were the hardest part with nowhere for the air to go so I had to poke release holes. The rest was a breeze tho!

Installed a Hooke Road tailgate insert I purchased during Black Friday. I was a little worried about getting one with misaligned holes but got lucky. Fits great.

I've read mixed reviews about powering an arb with an auxbeam ar-800 or switch pro 9100. Some say it's fine and others say a bit too much. The AR-800 will be for the back lights and main lights on my SS3 pro ditch lights along with a light bar and any other future accessories, but not the arb twin in this case.

The fuse taps will plug into the footwell fuse panel and connect to the blue and red wires on the on/off switch on the side of the desert does it seat mount (passenger side).

The main harness with the 2 red positive wires will connect to the red positive battery terminal. The 1 black negative wire along with the smaller black ground wire will tie together and run to the negative ground bolt on the fender next to the battery.

The included harnesses in the desert does it kit and the arb twin kit itself don't come with a relay as it's supposedly built into the arb twin. @ClassyTacos has a YouTube install on the arb twin.

Chloe Kuo mounted a single arb under the drivers seat with the desert does it mount and did the install the same as I mentioned above, but with the included relay. I think she left the relay bundled up with the excess harness under the seat too. I'd recommend that route for your install. @memario1214 would probably be able to tell you for sure if the Auxbeam AR-800 can handle your arb single.
