I figured I would be sad doing pivots and bolting the stock arms back on the truck but it sounds like this is the way to go. The truck does get used when I take it offroad so I’d rather do it right the first time lol.

I can't wait to get my hands on a set of those. I'm so tired of my bed bumping my cab so often

You could go either way. But at least with the pivot kit, it would be a big job done and out of the way. For the longest, I didn't weld gussets out of laziness and ended up seeing all the fractures that could have gone wrong. I get it LT would look cool instantly but you break your shit, you're not cool. You're just another joe schmoe that someone needs to save lol. I wouldn't fault you if you went LT first. We wheel and want to have fun doing it.

I’m definitely doing broke boy steps lol but the more I think about it I’m pretty sure the pivots are the right thing to get done first. That and the gussets atleast. Then instead of putting on arms+axles with no shocks I can just buy all that at once and be happy. I should just open a credit card and buy it all at once… I added everything to my cart that I want to do and got scared because then this truck is a $60,000 tacoma worth 20k at best

If you got it that bad you may need to straighten your frame before you can fit/install the JDFab braces

Mine's already been on the frame table, but that gap hardly changed when the frame was straightened. I'm sure the frame isn't perfect, it is probably noodled/bent every which way, but at the reference points, it is at least better than it was LOL. If I ever get the braces, I'm sure there will be major fab involved for fitting, and at that it might not even be possible given I have a LRA main tank that I WON'T be getting rid of, it fits practically snug with the frame... as well as MobTown full length bolt on sliders that would clearly interfere with the braces, so all of it would need to be fabbed in all sorts of ways.

    Yes

Shhh...just let him do it...I want to see the look on his face when he actually cycles it and realizes his rod is bottoming out in the shock body and that he still has OE travel #'s with his LT kit
