Just received the 5 I ordered. Date stamp is 9/22. Newer than the Duratracs I bought locally for my first gen last year.

Wheel Max had 265/75/16 Toyo AT3 for 160.00, Discount Tire matched it, no need to mess around with Amazon or buying them online

Thank you so much OP! Looked everywhere first but never thought about Amazon. Was just about to order these from DT and I know they'll match like they've done before.

Few months back I ordered four toyo mt's from Amazon all dated 21st week of '22, I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again. There's no benefits purchasing from a tire shop for me as I'm excluded from the "free" mount and balance services offered by most anyway because I run true beadlocks.

I bought 5 of these recently, had them mounted at NTB with no issues.

To be listed soon... Not much, though, I bought it this way...
I'm gonna be buying new wheels and tires soonish™, so just out of curiosity I started looking on Amazon. Here's what I found in 1-2 minutes of searching:

    Amazon.com: Falken Wildpeak A/T3W all_ Terrain Radial Tire-LT285/70R17 121S 10-ply : Automotive ($254.87 ea, -19%)

They're 17"s, mind you, not the 16"s the OP was talking about, but they meet your "285s" criteria!

    That’s a great price!!
Did you go to your local Discount Tire for the price match or did you have to do it online?

i bought wildpeaks for my ram 2500 off Amazon last week, they were like $60 less a tire than discount. only downside was it was supposed to be setup thru pepboys for install for $20 a tire....apparently amazon never told pepboys.... and they said that wasn't the first time that had happened....damn amazon...

I've dealt with Discount Tire a lot over the years for wheels and tires and they're great to deal with. They've always been fair with me.

I bought my tires from Amazon. $75 cheaper per tire than any shop ($125 cheaper than the most expensive shop) in town with free shipping. Showed up 2 days later via UPS which is absolutely nuts for Alaska.
Their manufacture date was 4 months prior to my purchase date.
Felt bad not going local, I hate the jungle more than most, but apparently my ethics are worth less than $375

dude i ordered through Amazon and paid for the $79 install and when i got to pep boys they said i didn't have an appointment. The amazon service scheduling is a complete failure. Now i'm waiting until the 13th to get in.
I ordered them Nov 23 and they have been at pep boys since the 25th
