The blower motor for my heat/air/air-conditioning stopped working. Is this an easy fix? Part numbers? Thanks.

It’s either/or the resistor 4-pin connector (to the left of the blower as you face it), or the two-pin connector at the blower. When you look at the connectors one of the pins will look burnt. Pull it apart if you can to gently sand the pin. Use dielectric grease when reattaching the connectors. This has worked for me. Others have had melted connectors and spliced in new connectors. It is rare for the blower and resistor to need replacing, but it can happen.

edit: you may find it easier to remove said components to access the connectors. Both take a 5.5 mm socket to remove the bolts, two on the resistor, and, I think, three on the blower (could be four, I forget).

Thanks for the info. It started working again by itself yesterday, after over a month of no air, so it has to be a wiring or connection issue.

The blower and resistor are easy to get to. No tools required. I’d disconnect the plugs and check them. Melted connections are common.

I would at least remove the connectors and apply some dielectric grease to prevent corrosion. It will not fix itself permanently.
