So perhaps in the new year we can meet up and have an "unofficial" refresher shooting lesson somewhere? Its been 15 years since I shot a gun.

 

I shot at Trap matches there many many times.
Until they went nuts and started making people sign a waiver to shoot there.
Somebody gave them bad advice.

They got booted from the Franklin County Trap League over that.
I can't imagine the ATA looks too kindly on that either.

My Club has adequate insurance to cover accidents and liability... that's what it's for.
We don't need no stinkin' waivers.

 

I do carry mace in my truck. But I also purposefully look annoyed and move fast when I'm on my own in public so I'm not an easy target.

 

Its changed a lot recently. My manager at work is on the board now and is making them actually spend money to fix up the place properly. I've thought about helping out with some projects, but that may or may not cross some kind of boundary as some people would think I would be doing that to gain something in my employment. Honestly, I just like fixing shit

BTW, my Club has offered NRA sponsored Handgun classes in the past (which I attended).
Dunno if they still do.
If so, it should show up on the Calendar of Events.
Our Club Secretary is a little remiss on keeping the Calendar up to date

BTW, I have a Walther P22 you can shoot.
(Dimensionally, it's almost identical to my Walther PK380).

Easier to concentrate on the basics when you're shooting a mild recoiling .22 rimfire handgun.

I like my PK380 and P22.
They're concealable but not so small that they're hard to shoot well.

Obviously, I got the P22 to practice with, since it's so close to the PK380.
