El Taco Diablo... Mall Crawlin, now with LT for tall curbs

We're meeting up today for our annual club meeting actually, where I'll be able to grab it from him

The Triple sticks are already here. I just have to get the drive lines remodeled and it's party time for the dual cases.

 

Cool. I ran TG for 5 years with zero issues. I did put the Marlin 2.28 Total Spline input in the box though. As far as drive shaft mods go just drop them off and have 8.5" added to the front and subtracted from the rear. I know a lot of guys wait until the cases are installed to verify but math is math. lol

 

Right on, good to know. I didn't know the 8.5 measurement because I didn't have the case yet. But, ya, I was going to just measure and take them down there.

The rear will be a tiny bit more math, I also have to account that it's the Pre-runner driveline from before the swap. The rear yoke is in better shape than the one currently on the truck. And if I just have that one done, I can still drive with this one on.

 

Another piece of the puzzle arrived

I can think of many stupider monetary decisions. lol

And a lot better for my health than some of the other alternatives.

Same principle either way. One is just by JD Fab the other is Total Chaos.


Going off what happened to @theesotericone I'm wondering if this would add additional strength to the coil bucket. I'm already looking in to ways to reinforce the coil bucket while I'm in there this time, doing the LT install. I already ordered the Solo UCA double shear reinforcement. But I'm looking for other way to get in front of a catastrophe on the bucket.

@eimkeith you wouldn't have happened to have made a coil bucket reinforcement kit yet, would you? lol
