It's pretty shitty, worst dog sitting experience ever...I try with doggies treats no good, They're pretty old. One nipped me last night... I just feed and let them out to use the restroom.

I guess i will state the obvious..
Kind of a recipe for disaster..
I would never have someone watch my dog without first meeting her first,and vice versa..
Unless it was some kind if emergency..
To be quite honest it would probably be a few times of coming in my home..

 

It's pretty dreadful X.X I'm happy, that I only need to see them twice a day

 

Well not to preach, but hopefully both of you people learn a lesson from this f***upped situation..

 

Oof, brutal situation for everyone. Senior dogs can have a really hard time changing to an unfamiliar location, especially when they're unfamiliar with the new carer. IME it can take them months, even. I hope y'all can make it through the sitting period without too much trouble.

The school I work at(Lincoln Tech) is marking and registering catalytic converters for free on Friday if anyone is interested. 10am to 2pm, takes probably 90 seconds.

what prevents the thieves from peeling that label off?

 

The text/QR label is permeable and they spread acid over it to etch the metal. Also, once the label bakes it comes off in tiny shreds.

Yeah I agree. Obviously, there isn't really a perfect solution beyond parking somewhere people can't get to or just not running cats.

 

Just stopped by the dog house, They seem really calm this time around. (3rd visit)

It's going alright! Day after day they're barking less at me. I just stopped by twice a day to let them out and feed. My fear of them slowly going away, showing no fear! Even tho one nipped my ass (finger not my ass) in the start!

 

My next gig is to Cat sit, and might double up and dog sit for some coworker for the Christmas Holiday!

 

I remember reading about AAA doing this. Apparently they have already cancelled their program. Bummer. I like the idea.

Whether it works depends on whether there's enough enforcement to instill fear in would-be buyers, and whether there's enough enforcement probably depends on whether enough people opt into etching. Can't say I'm optimistic, but I also don't see any harm in opting in.
