Shop Time w/T.W. Friends

Good morning Shane and fellas. More leaf bagging today as soon as they dry out some from the dew, going for a walk now.

Not to rub it in, another 80* day Florida guy here. If it’s any consolation, it’s damp and very foggy from the high humidity

 

That's about how long we were quoted for the wait on fire alarm devices. They were ordered early and showed up in time.

Until the inspector came through for final walk-through to get our CO and said we needed to add some exit signs... that we didn't have.

 

Rest assured it is not.

I'll be down there at the end of the month. Keep the heat on until then, please.

 

I heard one of the local house builders talking to someone the other day and he said if they order windows before they get permits to build they are lucky to have them when they need them.

 

I was headed down the road to get some garbage from another building and I ran up on this here cone, dunno what it is

We're having trouble getting motor/reducer combos. Right now it's only on certain equipment that can run without them, just cut the belt and let it free spin. But, if we have trouble getting the larger ones we're in trouble. Guess we'll have to go to a larger motor/reducer and adjust the VFD...

 

That's on my laundry room.

So me and Mr. Lufkin took a .750” end mill and I introduced him to the grinder.





The result, happy OCD. Once he finishes it the little blemishes will be hidden.

 

Heard something out back, apparently the wrecker had to get the dumpster out of the truck and I missed it

My house down South had the dryer in the kitchen and washer on the covered back porch. Was the oddest thing...
