That's what I figured. I'm not super crazy about the ACC. If I can forgo the sensor and bypass it to show no traffic ahead I'll just modify a pro grill and do away with the mount location below the letters. I'll have to look into that a bit more later on though.

Here's the best pic of the front I have on my phone at the moment

Yeah. Yours is the same one that I had, except mine was lame and had a chrome surround around the mesh. The sensor is behind that toyota emblem though.
I'm not really sure if it's possible, without throwing a bunch of codes and stuff. I know that damn thing can be sensitive even when mud or debris hits the sensor screen. Perhaps anything is possible though with the right amount of resources and money thrown at it.

I'll just throw my multimeter at it and cut and splice all the wires until it either does what I want it to do or I regret my life choices and zip-tie it back together with my tail between my legs

Most likely that second one :cookiemonster:

Good morning fellas. Hope your knee is not too bad Mark. I have knee problems too. I know it is fulfilling when they actually find out what is wrong, nothing worse than it being inconclusive and no one knows whats up.

I know no other way

    Glad to hear it!

    lol yeeeeaaaa...

One of the most recent problems I solved was what to do with the bed of the truck when I remove it to chop the shock mounts and weld on towers for 14" shocks o_O:rolleyes::crazy:

I haven't decided if I'm going to do the FJ transfer case swap again or not yet but the more I read about the NWF crawl box the more I like it.

    I have a problem, I already know this :goingcrazy::frusty: :rofl::anonymous:

    Merrrrrrnin boys!

    Morning gents :hattip:

    OSHA Day 3 :bored:

Worst case scenario, you get a good cleanse :D
    Love finding those
I'm more than sure you can disconnect it and move it to where the Pro Grill attachment is placed, which is a little lower, may have to go get it recalibrated at the stealership......or like you said zip tie and splice away:D
Good looking boy, congratulations again brother and glad he's all better. I know how frustrating it can be seeing him sick, but glad he's home now

    Morning Alex

:pccoffee: Good Morning SA! Putz plan is redo of my grille surround. That's it. Wife said that was my best steak ever last night - I thought I "warmed" it too long. Couldn't have been too bad; nothing left.

I rationalize my insanity with quotes like:
    • "I've already done this much digging, I can't let that effort go to waste."
    • "I learned what does and doesn't work already, it will be super easy this time."
    • "I have removed pretty much every bolt on the truck at least once. Again, this is going to be easy."
    • "I have tools already!"
    • And my favorite, "I'm only going to lift it a little bit. It's a 4x4 pickup, it should sit higher than a Camry."

That's every morning here. Afternoons it tries to be nicer. It's a pleasant say, I am not complaining!
