    Looks real nice!

I'm gonna have to print one out myself now!

    Thanks for all the help!

Also check your local maker spaces and community colleges. Many of those have classes for extremely cheap and all the equipment you need.

    Excellent recommendation!

Our local community College has a $50,000 Stratasys printer that can print some AMAZING things!

    Ok. I'll send it off.

Do you want to paint it yourself? Or would you prefer I paint it black for you?

Considering Trail Limo’s kind offer, is there anyway I could talk someone into tweaking v5 (rr) for me? I downloaded a couple open source programs to try myself, but things have come a long way from my autocad days two decades ago…
I’d like to nix the “Tacoma” text and add a spot somewhere on the bottom of the model to affix double sided tape to hold it down while lifting the phone off the magnetic charger. A 1.5”x1.5” square under the support in the center would be perfect I imagine…
Remuneration for any and everyone involved with this of course!
No worries if not! It has been a joy to watch the community create op’s vision either way.
    Happy turkey day gents

I will upload a V6 with your changes incorporated on Monday when I get back to the office.
For the 1.5" x 1.5" tape mount. . . I could put a recess in the center support, say .1"?

Thank you so much! Dang, I’d be horrible at product design… You’re talking about accommodating the thickness of the tape? Or the thickness of the mount?

edit: My gorilla tape is 1.5mm thick, so if the center mount were a 1.5x1.5x.1” square, if you could reduce the center mount by 0.157” from flush, I think it’d be perfect. If that makes sense?

Well the circular support below the Magsafe charger goes all the way to the Qi charging pad, so I would put a 1.5" x 1.5" recess in it .157" deep for you to add tape to the bottom.

I’m not sure I understand what a recess is in this context and I think I had too much turkey…
    I apologize for my confusion.
The tape near as I can eyeball is only 1.5mm or about .06” thick (not sure where I came up with .057” earlier but I added that to the .1 recess you mentioned).
I was imagining like an inverted T on the underside with the 1.5x1.5” square being .06” above the Qi. After looking at the screenshot of the design you posted, I feel like it would be easier to increase the diameter of the support to like .5” or .75” and that would be plenty for the tape to grab.

@Hercanstein ……. Received the print from Trail Limo. It looks and fits in the space just about perfect. But the diameter for the puck is too tight. The thing won’t go in. Even putting some pressure on it. Is probably missing a couple of millimeters.

    Uh Oh!
Add 2 millimeters to the circumference?
I will make the adjustment and put out a V6 (is that what we are up to?) this evenening.
It's a bummer! You have been waiting a long time for this!

Is fine. Is just awesome that you and Trail Limo have been helping me with this.
Yes, I think 2 millimeters should do it. And this would be V6. Thank you.

Just to verify. Height wise (depth) of the pocket is good?
