 Did the OP really just ask for a free shock to verify his own claim?

This idea sounds great and all until the shaft bottoms out internally because the body is too short. 7.5” of exposed shaft doesn’t mean 7.5” of travel in all scenarios.

The fact that thousands of people aren't on this debunking it is sus. OP just broke kings market.

Ok, I got lucky and caught one of our assemblers in back revalving a 25001-119-EXT coilover. The facts are in!

[below] Here is the entire piston rod assembly removed from the shock body. We then removed the long spacer thats on the shaft and reinstalled.

[below] Shock assembled and compressed fully until bottom out internally with piston hitting top cap:

    [below]
Spacer length next to shock fully compressed. Keep in mind its still missing the lower spring perch which takes up a small amount of space as well. This is all very precise so the shock does not bottom out internally with the piston hitting the top cap. This shock is built specifically for one application.

    [below]
This is the top cap on these coilovers. They thread INTO the body, not over it. The bottom end of the top cap does not allow the piston rod assembly to pass through it. Deceiving, unless you are familiar with how these shock get assembled.

** I would highly recommend that no one removes this spacer **

Are these accurate part names? Is it called a shaft spacer?
