What's wrong with that? My wife does that to her car pretty regularly.

Actually she scrapes that much metal off on a pretty regular basis!

 well thankfully my spare has never had to see road duty so I haven't scraped any curbs with it but the main reason I posted it was because this was the tire that took so much weight and even after all the weight still caused a shimmy so now I put it to the spare and hopefully I never have to actually use it. I'm sorry that your wife is a curb assassin lol

Definitely have seen worse funny enough.

I’m completely spoiled lately by neither set of Maxxis’ needing balanced at all on beadlocks

Over the years of all my tires that I have had mounted up I have never had one that didn't need any weight at all, that's pretty awesome.

Ditto. I've done one or two on customer vehicles that mounted perfectly, but never my own yet :anonymous:

Had to take the princess to work today as my wifes CR-V shed a belt last night. Snowing and blowing. Can't wait to lay in the snowy cold and fix that mess tonight...

I'd bet the tire machine would say they need weights somewhere but the butt dyno says they are fine :). I had a set of 37" Coopers that came on the second gen that definitely required a balance though.

Worked an overnight shift last night and had to access stuff in the bed a few times. I found myself wondering why I haven't yet found a lighting solution for under the tonneau back there. Have any of you guys set something up for the bed?

Ideally it would be wired as an accessory light or lights that would be activated when the tailgate is opened, but that may be a little tricky. Think dome light or top bed light when you open doors... I'd have to be able to switch it off as well for stuff like hauling with the tailgate down. If there isn't already something available (I searched for a bit at DD and Cali Raised and didn't find an application like this) I could go simple with a toggle switch in the bed, or even a battery pack in one of the stash holes in the bed if I didn't wire it in.

Guessing someone out there has a solution, or maybe a DIY setup that could work. I really know nothing about accessory lighting yet, but I do plan to do more lighting in a bumper with a light bar and spots/floods, and I know I'll be diving into the timesuck of looking at lighting control panels. If it would be better to wait until I get to that point I'll put away the CC for now. :D

Visited one of my favorite places again today. Also had my wipers on the fastest setting because of snow coming over the hood, so that was something lol.

Thank you, any time! He was unusually friendly, I'm sure he's pretty used to people. Also, I find that all the spots I have come to love are worth visiting at least one time for each season. The beauty changes, and although it's not a new place, it's definitely new things to experience and appreciate. Like winter has the brutal and raw mother nature going on, while spring has the thaw and coming to life. Summer has the beautiful mornings and evenings and good temps. Fall has the changing of color, frost in the morning and warm sun later in the day, with no bugs! Long story short, I'm in love with nature

    That's crazy!

I think one of my Toyos or Yokohamas balanced without any weight. But, just one. That was enough to blow my mind.

More stickers today! I was a little confused about why Ironman didn't include a height adjustment wrench with my kit. I found out it's sold separately and I had plenty of their rewards credits to get it for free. It's massive! Everything they do is a bit extra apparently.

There used to be a guy on the forums (maybe Matt Gecko?) that sold LED strip kits for the bed area. I’m away on mobile so can’t search myself but should be easy to find.
