My daughter just turned 7. Her writing is better than mines ever been.

 

Something email’s can’t do.

 

Damn.... That's a lot of drillin' between now and then. Ain't gonna be any ground water left for him.

 

I realized I screwed up after I was already quoted and figured there was no point in fixing it then.

 

That is awesome right there.
My daughter is 9 and she has had better hand writing than me since she was like 5. My handwriting is absolutely horrible.

 

I have to hand write in all capitals so it's legible. I think a lack of patience has a lot to do with it.

 

Is cursive a dying art?

 

I'd say so unless you write a lot of checks. Everything is on the computer these days.

Same here. When I was in class for architectural drafting, I had really good handwriting but I don't write blocks of notes anymore so that skill is pretty much gone.

 

I don't think they teach it in the schools up here anymore.

 

I never quite understood the need for cursive handwriting.
I didn't get learning how to write the same letter four different ways, yet only one way for writing a number.
I had lots of questions when I was a lad.
