Looks great! I have been wanting to get one for a while but don't want to shell out the 300 that the dealer wants.

Great addition. I love mine and use it quite frequently. And they are great for being aero dynamic. Mine is fairly quiet when in the straight position.

    Looks nice!

I like my OEM roof rack as it folds out of the way, stays nice and quiet when not in use. Might not be the prettiest rack out there but the rest of my truck is badass so it don't matter:cool:

I too got caught up in wanting one and was just about ready to pull the trigger, until I went over my mother-in-laws to shovel her out from the last snow fall. I decided to clean off her car and the roof rack on her Kia Sportage made getting the snow off the roof a PIA. At this point I'm rather undecided.

Shouldn't be much of a problem with the rack in it's stowed position. The roof is fully exposed to get the snow off, as you can see in the picture in the first post.

Nice! I paid $200 for mine. I think it gives the truck a nice look. Plus you rarely see trucks with them on.

It can be done easily in under 30 minutes. Remove the molding from the channels in the roof, starting at the back window and working your way forward. Then you mount a bracket for the front section of the rack. There are some places in the channel that look like they are covered with foam looking material. You push the bolts through this into inserts in the roof that are already threaded. Then bolt the front of the rack to the bracket that you just installed. Then install 3 remaining bolts in the middle and the rear of the rack and you are done. I bought mine used and they were a little faded. I cleaned up the rubber around the base using fine steel wool. Then I used Mother's Back to Black on the rest of the rack and it now looks like new.

Read your post, sounded easy. Looked at the PDF directions from the link in the post above, now I know its easy. Now I have to convince my wife that it's worth the $200!!!

    Looks nice on your truck!
