2024 Supercross Thread

A buddy and I were talking yesterday about this and couldn't recall, but does Mitch build motors / have association with the Monster Kawi 450 team? Or is he only PC Kawi (250 pro team) and one-offs?

 

The 450 team is it's own In-house program. They sometimes will use PC parts but Mitch/PC only runs the 250 team, even though both are considered the official Factory Teams in their respected classes, for Kawi.

Crazy how a PC pipe makes that kx450 look so good. That OEM muffler is sure an eye sore.

 

100% lol. Honestly even the 250 pipe looks terrible, stock. But I agree once you get a nice exhaust on the Kawis, they sure do look nice.

Hope he heals up well. That was fun seeing him do so well last year. Wished these guys made a lot more so that medical bills aren't an issue.

Now I want to know what's gonna happen to the backup PC Kawi, cause that is a sliiiiiiiiiiick set of personal bikes he's sittin on.

 

I was hoping he'd go with Pro Circuit Kawasaki.

 

Last week Donn on swap podcast leaked out that Kenny didn't have the time to ride the bikes he bought. Rumor that some dude in Canada bought them too, but that wasn't a for sure. Would of been cool to see him slap out some laps on those bikes.

 

For real, I wish he would have posted some vids before he officially signed with HEP.

Yes, that is mostly true. He was supposed to ride them at the end of the same week that he was first riding the Suzukis, but that never happened. So that picture was actually old. I thought I posted that earlier, but I forget if I did or not. Because by the time those pics came out, There was already strong rumor that Suzuki was going to get done. So those bikes were actually for sale or sold when that pic made it's way around. I have no idea if it was a guy in Canada or whatever but he never rode the bikes.

 

K i think this just scared me out a buying a motorcycle. I was going to buy one yesterday but the bike i want is out of stock everywhere

 

Could get in a car accident any day, too. These things happen, unfortunately. Don't let it discourage you from doing what you want/love.

 

Well hopefully a pro rides those bikes and makes a sweet video for us, but I doubt it.

At least excited to see Hansen riding again for husky. Love that guy's flow on a track when he is riding for fun. At least we get some videos in the future of that.

Ya I have no clue who has them. They are sick though, basically built up with everything Pro Circuit offers and then some. Remember over the summer when Mitch was selling 1 of Ryder D's fully built PC KX250Fs, they were asking like $30k. So I bet those 450s sold for around there, if not more. Crazy lol.

Is Hansen going to race or is he just for specialty events and internet content type of stuff? But you are right, he has such good flow, it's a thing of beauty.

 

Hansen is the new full time test rider for husky. No racing. He also said that husky going to do some filming of him riding. We might get some fun clips of him looking good on a bike. -swap YouTube interview.
