Save up those ICE vehicles, we can make a pilgrimage to CA in 2035 and sell em for a pretty penny o_O

My cousin lives in California and the monthly payment on her new Tesla is like $650 per month; I drove her Tesla when I was out there for a family reunion in late July-early August, and I really liked it, but I wouldn't trust a Tesla or any other electric vehicle to get me across the country without devoting considerable time to recharging. I wonder what Californians would pay per month for ICE vehicle or even traditional hybrid like a Prius?!?!

To California’s credit, superchargers are every where. You find Tesla chargers in the middle of nowhere desert. It is very feasibly to own an electric vehicle and find places to charge (only speaking in CA). Plus with the popularity of solar, if you own a home, adding solar panels and charging makes an electric vehicle very appealing.

And $650/month is honestly not that bad of a payment (in today’s prices). The perk of Tesla in a place like CA is the fixed pricing direct from manufacturer. The markups on “normal” cars are bad. Really bad. To the point where an electric vehicle could be cheaper than buying a Prius off a lot.

My truck has been paid for many years, the frame just got replaced, and I'd rather put a down payment on a house than buy a new vehicle at this point. If Tesla built a truck that didn't look like the result of a one-night stand between a Delorean and K.I.T.T. from Knight Rider, I would consider it. The Rivian is nice, but damn expensive, and ditto the GMC Hummer...

There is a red one down the street but the front end is smashed up, looks like they hit a deer.

As long as the motors aren't in the axles, is there any reason you couldn't mod an electric truck?

A Nissan Serena spotted in Hong Kong by my friend who lives there; I have never seen or even heard of this model, but this one appears fairly new and is a hybrid according to the badging on the tailgate...

I was at Pete's getting the Tacoma worked on last Friday, and this guy's street legal BMW 3-series track car came into the shop with a blown rear end. The BMW owner's friend showed up in his JDM 1996 Nissan Cedric to take him home. The Cedric has minor front end damage from hitting a deer, but is otherwise in great shape...

Something around the taillights or trunk lid looks odd to me.

JDM 1996 Suzuki X90; I remember when these were new, and I actually saw them fairly often when we were living in Northern California. This one's got an automatic transmission (sadly), 4WD, A/C, power windows, power door locks, and an aftermarket Bluetooth stereo; A lot of the US-spec ones I've seen for sale do not have A/C...

Selden had a couple of Delica L400s undergoing brake work before being put on the lot. Unlike the V6 model I drove a year ago, both of these have the 2.8L Turbodiesel, and I was surprised to find out that "Jasper" is the green van's trim level...
