Alright everyone, so I have a 2002, 5-lug, single cab tacoma. I recently did an add a leaf in the back because my oem leafs were struggling. It fixed the problem and it raised the back up about 2.5in. Now the front of the truck looks real low and I want to raise it so its level again. However, there's pretty much no aftermarket parts for the 5 lug front suspension exept a 3in spindle lift, and a 1in spacer, bolth of which, I allready have, (Btw, the spacer didn't do jack). So now, pretty much my only option is getting longer shocks and a larger/stiffer front coil spring. Ive looked everywhere but found very little information or help finding what would work best for me. Anyone got any ideas?

Was the AAL specific to a 5 lug, or did you use a 6 lug AAL?

    Edit:
Sorry- to suggest something useful- before doing anything, you should also replace the front coil springs. If your rear springs are toast, the front probably are too.

The rear 5 lug tacoma suspention is pretty much identical to the 6 lug. So the AAL would work for bolth. All 4 shocks and the front coil springs were replaced right before I bought the truck, but the rear leafs were not. The guy couldn't find a set, same for me. Thats why I did a AAL

I'd be willing to bet the spring rate is not identical and would result in the additional height you're ended up with. When I was a broke youngster, I got a donor leaf pack and made my own 3 three aal using cut down springs from the donor pack. You may need to do something similar, remove the aal and insert a cut down leaf from another pack (essentially with less arch / spring rate) in it. Or just pull your leaf packs and get a spring shop to reach them for you.
