Funny, I used to know a test pilot. That dude worked harder than any other pilot I knew.

I guess we just have to settle for a job that doesn't make you lose your cool every day and be happy with that.

Not bad that's good to know

I've never ridden a DRZ but heard the common complaints are weight, power, no FI, and lack of 6th gear. But it does have some things going for it...we shall see. And I hear ya I've lost strength too, definitely takes more effort to lift the bike off the stand and roll it around

just a couple of things tbh
ya the drz is a great around the town ripper and just reliable bike (as long as you check the primary nut haha) but after owning one for almost a year i can take it or leave it tbh newer bikes have better tech and advancements that make the drz just archaic in design. we shall see thou if i actually go through with it because tbh 12k is a lot for a dual sport...

ya lifting things now really does suck and ive dropped it a few times on small trails and had to lift it can i? yes is it easy? no... it is not.. and normally im in a bit of pain afterwards so my buddies usually help if they see it lol

Was out a little later than expected tonight running some medicine over to a friends place for their baby, was really foggy, like can’t see from reflector to reflector foggy, helmet, glasses, and boots looked like I was riding through sprinkles so when I got home I swapped my clear lenses to selective yellow.

Before, high beam didn’t affect visibility but illuminated the 40’ or so that I could see better.

And with selective yellow, low beam, stock fogs, and driving lights at 5%.

I like how it looks from the front, hopefully a little better visibility from the front in the mornings.

It makes me excited to get my amber fogs installed lower at the end of the week.

Rode to work for the first time since November 14th. Weather hasn't been the issue it's been how they have the only road to our shop torn up so badly I really felt it would have been unsafe to ride in. For almost 3 weeks they even had the entrance way to our shop torn out and it was just loose gravel.

November 17th was my last ride. Was sick all of Thanksgiving week and I haven't been able to get out of my cul de sac on 2 wheels ever since with all the snow we've been getting. Today I proooobably could have done it, but we're supposed to get more snow this afternoon and I didn't feel like risking it on the way home.

I'm hoping this weekend to remove the CT90's oil cooler and put the bypass back in so I can at least hoon around on that

I've ridden a bunch since November 14 just not back and forth to work. Over Thanksgiving weekend I went through 2 full tanks of fuel.

Road in and out of my work is now paved, halfassed but paved, and they repaired our entryway to work so it's now at least fit to travel.
