2022 TRD I got a 3/2 lift 285 tires 2 months ago. No problems with sensors. Fast forward, yesterday I went back to have them do alignment now pcs and other lights are on (can’t remember the others at the moment). The guy worked on it for hours trying to clear the lights. Nothing worked. What am I missing. I’m sure a dealership will say it’s not covered because of lift even tho I’ve had no problems till now. And I have been searching threads but can’t find an answer. Thank you

It would help if you were more specific about what lights are on.

Vehicle stability error and cruise control disabled?

Probably need a zero point calibration.

None of the old hacks will work on your 2022. You either need the dealership, a shop with the right computer, or you need to buy the computer on Amazon.

In any case I'd be making the alignment shop float the bill.

Had this happen twice already from wheeling hard in my 21. First time knocked the alignment out and had to get the dealership to reset the light because the alignment shop couldn't figure it out. Took two days of arguing with the dealership that it didn't need diagnostics and I finally printed the zero point calibration pages from the manual and told them that was all I wanted them to do. They charged me 175 still.

Second time I bent the ever-loving-fluff out of a spindle. After replacing the spindle (with the assistance of some amazing TW members because I was stranded out of state), I took it to a Toyota truck specialty shop who did the alignment and cleared the code for free.

I had not done anything in my truck other than regular driving. I just brought it back to the guy that did my Lift and tires After 1000 miles so that he could check all the things that he installed for tightness. And it was a little out of line so I had him do an alignment and that’s when it through all the codes. Can someone tell me the correct scanner that I need so that I can call around and see who has one or is it something I can order into myself through Amazon. I have seen one listed in this forum but I didn’t know if it was the correct one for this model truck. Thank you for all your help
Oh and is it safe to drive around while I try to find someone

So, can disconnecting the battery, doing the alignment, and reconnecting the battery can circumvent this? Or, is it memory based and will detect after the artery is reconnected and driving begins?

On the new trucks you have to have techstream. Not sure if other scanners work or not. I think 19 and older can use the paperclip trick. Alignments just require a reset because of all the electronic magic now

If it's VSC due to alignment there is no code.

If it's VSC, which it most likely is, it's absolutely fine to drive. I've put 2k miles on my truck with that crap flashing at me which is a huge pain in the ass when you can't use your cruise control

We need more details on the lights, though. Is it saying something about vehicle stability control being disabled?

This is the most likely culprit based on what you're saying but we need more details to be certain.

If none of the above works, it could be your wheel speed sensor harness on either side.. could've gotten stretched or caught on something during the alignment and broken a wire.

oh ok...i was just wondering,..a VSA light on a Honda will have codes stored in the ABS
So if you lift one of these trucks it doesnt afffect the millimeter wave radar?..i know if you lifted a honda that much it would be back with a misalignment of the wave radar

Might have a broken wire in the harness for the wheel speed sensor. Went through this recently. I was doing suspension work on my GX. Got done and fired it up and all the tcs/vsc lights were on. After some trouble shooting it was the harness on the drivers side.

If a light is on there's codes. Just have to have the right scan tool to pull them out. A generic obd tool won't do it

It probably is the zero point calibration

Thank you all. I took it to dealership for alignment. The other place screwed up my camber tabs. I was told I have to get those repaired. But for now I’m good , but I need to get the tabs fixed
