Grounding point near P/S pump and oil dipstick right engine side

Mega bastard to get to, honestly you can likely mount the ground anywhere else. Maybe the dip stick mount?

I don't believe it's the cause of your issues though.

Either that (attached the ground terminal to the same 10 mm bolt that the cable clip goes on the P/S pump) ... or ... the tightening of the bolt securing the electrical connector to the differential ... WAS IT !! The engine running now, so far, so smoothly !!

 

evidently, you never mounted the A/C pump, specifically the lower rear bolt of the 4... this is a cakewalk in comparison

 

I’m actually a life long Toyota tech. I’ve changed frames on these trucks.

The worst on the whole truck is the knock sensors. You technically need to remove one cylinder head to get them lol. I’ve done it without.

Glad you got it sorted out. I was just coming in to say that the ground on the back of the power steering pump won't cause a no start. It's for a pressure switch on the pump that will jump the engine RPM's a few hundred when the pump needs it.

I switched to an aftermarket pump and left that ground wire (and the pressure switch connector) disconnected.

 

You cut the coolant bypass bracket?
Or were you actually able to fish them out ?

professional/certified doesn't mean much. i've got more help from knowledgeable non-professionals.

The point is, people here don’t tend to forget.
Whether you know it or not, you actually had some real good guys try to help you.
You ran some of them, and some stayed. I’m no professional by any means, but the way you respond to some people can be condescending. I personally, don’t let much get to me.
For the most part, I don’t care to help people. Even if they have a different opinion of me.

 

they were bullies who assumed the right to be condescending themselves... maybe because they are "professional" and think they shouldn't be scrutinized. maybe i am not completely clueless because i get shit done so the bullied hierarchy/tyranny of arbitrary professionals does not support itself.

if my doctor denied me legitimate scrutiny, i would go get another doctor.

yet you were more helpful than professionals. so being a professional doesn't really mean much other than feed their ego. i really don't need professionals for anything other than write me prescriptions without which i can't get at the pharmacy. because that's the law, and is tyrannical.
