98 Taco Brake Booster Changeout

    Hey guys,
    I’m trying to change out the brake booster on my 98 Taco V6 4x4. The new assembly doesn’t have the two ports on the driver side of the booster. Looks like maybe an equalization line or something? Pics of the original vs the new one. I’m hesitant to remove the old without the new being the exact same….

    the one on the inside goes to engine vacuum...where does the hose on the very outside of the booster go...

    How positive are you that the one currently in the truck is an OEM unit? Could it have been changed out before? I'd send it.

    Here is a pic of the old one I just took out. Installed the new one, haven’t crashed into a pine tree yet…
