Right on the money. I came back to my truck after a day of hunting and had a message that my Tacoma arrived that morning of the 5th. I drove it home the next day. Thanks for all the update tracking Rod03.new tacoma.jpg

I just had a dealer send me a spec sheet for an incoming fully loaded one and another dealer with 3 incoming trd off road premium incoming and two are in transit. Is it a really small dealer? These are near Albany NY

Not a jerk move in this climate. One of the dealers that we have a great working relationship with was struggling to get a car of another make last year and he even told us, "if you fine one elsewhere, buy it- we won't hold it against you and will happily service it and give you the perks as if you bought it here." Doubt they all feel this way, but like I said- we have a good relationship with this one. I wouldn't think twice about it with the bullshit ordering process that Toyota has.

Mine has been sitting at the factory for about a month now. The salesman has been updating me- but he’s said that there’s no update and that nobody knows why it’s not shipping.

In my quest to not bug the dealer on my vehilces arrival. I came across the below on a Rav4 forum. Shows mine slated for 19 Jan 2023. Guess will see how it pans out.

    “1. Go to explore.setbuyatoyota.com
    2. Near the top, click the drop-down link "Select A Vehicle" and select the vehicle you reserved
    3. Scroll down a bit and click on "View Inventory"
    4. In the left side filters column, check 2022, then the Model (trim level), and then exterior and interior colors. Selecting the colors will shorten the list.
    5. Enter your zip code at the bottom.

Look through the list of cars for your VIN number and it should tell you the expected date it will be available to the dealer. If you're VIN number doesn't show up, be suspicious that the dealer may not have that actual car allocated to them.”

No, the Logistics park is in Illinois. From there it needs to get on another train, after that it gets on a Semi to the dealership.

Thank you Rod....hope it doesn't keep moving forward with the date. Found a solar octane one on a lot ...not sure if I want pumpkin color but it is unique. Going to look at in person tomorrow morning.
