When he came out to visit, he didn't just bring that Miller we joked about, he dropped off an acetylene kit, Klein CAT tools, brand new Graco play pen, a brand new large play yard gig, and other goodies.

He even gave me a 70cf empty bottle from Airgas.

Cleaned up the Miller and bought a few consumables and new ground clamp. Best of all, my welding supplier took in that old ass bottle and it only cost $31+5.95 hazmat to fill!

Did have to pay a 1-time hydro test fee cause the old bottle was dated 4-94 but the whole swap cost $89 total. When it's empty, exchanges are only $37 total for 75/25 gas.



Nice having 2x 150cf tanks and 1x 70cf tank now; the small bottle will come in clutch if I need to take a welder somewhere.

 

I gotta admire how much you and the other old timers on here answer the same question over and over and over and over etc...

I cant think of the last time I ventured out of the BS threads.
