    If I've learned anything from working with engineers it's that they make up quasi-plausible, technical sounding justifications for minor screw ups that don't really matter. "Oh yeah, it's slightly offset to counteract unintended torque vectoring caused by asynchronous lock-up across the face of the clutch plate."

    True. If I’m building a motor I don’t really deviate from .5 of a thousandth on shit but 1/4” on some janky frame brace is all good in my book.

    Forgot to compliment you on the welds. They are looking real good. Those corner joints are def harder than a normal butt or overlap.

    I’ve pretty much decided that I’m not gonna drive the truck in winter at all unless I’m going to a specific place for a specific reason. The EPA throws people in jail for basically nothing yet they allow god only knows how much toxic road salt to be used annually by municipalities.

    Side note: As a dad with two young kiddos I'm jealous AF as to how much garage time you get (compared to me). I vicariously live a little through each of your build posts. I know the grass isn't always greener but enjoy your time in the shop and with the build. It's cliche but it's not always about the destination. Keep up the great work, I look forward to it :cheers:

    I'm in the same boat, with 3 kids and my youngest at 13 months. She's a handful and play with everything she can get ahold of. At least she's not afraid of being greasy or dirty. Heck, I took her hunting before she was even one. Teach them young so they can feed and fend themselves when I'm not around.

    I've been sick and haven't had time to wrench on mine, I'm at the point where I'm considering building a frame jig, I need to get better and start burning metal in the garage and stop web wheeling :rofl:
