I buy hamburger at Costco in the big trays. I don't eat much of it, but the dog gets it every morning with his kibble. :burp:

True story, we get random trucks about once year driving through the neighborhood trying/claiming to sell meat out of a large freezer in the back of their pickup truck. I've never bought it, never will and I don't ask questions. o_O

Y'all ever have this happen? Kind of creeps me out.

I’ve seen them, I’m not buying meat out of the back of a truck either o_O

And also the “fresh fish”, we’re 211 miles from the coast

    Same.
They have been around for decades, used to use Toyota mini trucks in the pre-Tacoma days.

The ocean is a long way away too.

We’re a maritime province. Thing is most of the really good fish come through a hole in the ice these days. Some of that goodness just has to get at least as far as you.

Oh boy do I miss the days of a Wells ME fish truck coming up to the Northern NH town where I work. A legit set up that had the freshest seafood for miles… They haven’t been around for a decade.

As it is now, whenever we go south, we go back to our favorite market equipped with coolers (the fish folks are always happy to put their products on ice) to fill to the brim….

    Back to original programming….

Good Saturday morning Wrenchmen and welcome to the weekend. :)

The possibilities are endless -- either  or  depending on both attitude and ambition I guess.

Let's do out best to make it great!

Mornin'. Last day of muzzleloader week, been humping my butt all over creation trying to push deer for the other guys. I'm averaging about 5 miles a day, some of it in neoprene chest waders :ballchain:. There's no pay, but it's honest work. The deer have done a great job of squirting out of the way all week, only 3 down for 6 or 7 of us depending on the day.

Re the poll, I always preferred Mondays off. When I had Friday off, the week never seemed any shorter, but going in on Tuesday the week flew by.

    Have a great day everyone!

    Poll: Fridays.

I’ve had both. There are PLENTY of Monday holidays but hardly any Friday holidays. As a result, you often get four day weekends. With Mondays, you’ll get a “comp” day to be used another time. Which is nice, but doesn’t help “now”. Also, it’s not helpful if your day off is a holiday…

I prefer 9-80s, which give you every other Friday off… a useful day for getting things done.
