Tire weight thread?

I was unsuccessful in finding it if one already existed. Is there a thread listing tires and their weights? If not, should we start one?

Just go to the manufacturer's website for the tires you are looing for where most weights are listed.

 

Worried about weight? Don't buy E tires.


Aside from that, it's fairly easy to compare weight between the two to three tires you are looking at.

 

What if you’re looking at 5 different tires? Not so easy to go back and forth now.

 

Why would we do the work when someone else with lots of time can help out?

Alternatively, for people who don't want to eliminate >50 lb tars, then don't look at the spec that begins with the word "weight."

My tires are round, made of rubber, hold air, and don't rub the cab mount. 's good nuff for me.

Well duh. You can't even see my house with the orkin man parked in front of it, let alone what's in the garage.

 

My thing is that I've looked at the same tire on multiple sites and seen weights that were 5+ lbs different from site to site on the same tire. So perhaps a thread where people have set a tire on a scale and give those numbers
