Whichever one you drive on. :bananadead:

I don't know your climate, terrain, or usage habits. I don't want to know. I suggest you do what most of us do - go read. Find the reviews that match how you drive, and then buy those.

Better at what? Explaining your primary/intended use would be helpful.

And the specific model of tire might be helpful. Suggest you go to Tire Rack and see their ratings.

Buy the one that looks best for you and is at the best price. All are good tires, but IMO the BFG's are overpriced.

Does it all pretty good, without all the noise some more aggressive styles come with.

He's right. Michelin Defender or Nitto Mud Grappler.

Anything in between those two extremes is a compromise.

    Welcome to the word.

    They're is no "better" tire.

The best one is the best you can afford and using the right tire for what you want to do.

    Welcome to Tacomaworld.

Good Year Wrangler's (IMO) are a good all-around tire that also come in several different "flavors". I have had them on three of my trucks. What I like about them is they performed as intended throughout the entire life of the tire from new; no drop off in traction on snow or rain as they wore down and got old. A negative is that they don't last as long as the Michelin's: not many brands do. But they don't cost as much as the Michelin's either. If you are on a budget, Kumho tires are also a decent tire for the money.

Consider what your expectations are for the tire and the truck and tire and look for one that meets them. For me, it's 70% reliable traction in snow and rain, 30% reliable traction on the Forest Service and Paper Company roads which can have ruts, rocks, and occasional minor mud holes. I don't want them to make a lot of noise either on long 5 hour trips of highway and back roads on my treks to the boonies.
