That's what makes them so dangerous. The rain is falling somewhere else and coming your way but you don't expect it because the sun is out over you. In the desert it is important to pay attention to the weather on the horizon, big rain clouds over there don't mean I'm not gonna have a problem over here.

 

These lower ball joint thread guys aren't letting up.

 

I don't understand why it's so hard just to replace them on a normal interval. $300 for ball joints is a lot cheeper than a replacement truck.

Especially if you replace them what, every 80-100k miles?

For some people that's a good 7-10 years; that's between $30-43 per year or $2.50-3.58 per month.

Just want to take care of several things at once; radiator, multiple hoses, steering damper and that sort of thing.

One thing I always put off and finally ordered are rubber plugs, both those caps to block a nipple from draining anything and those wedge style plugs for keeping unplugged hoses from leaking anything as well.

We can knock out whatever you need to on your truck as well.
