For those of you looking to upgrade from the entune 2.0 HU (2016-2019) - you’ll need this adapter. You won’t need the NAV adapter for this one, but don’t forget the USB adapter. I did this on my ‘19 sport and it works flawlessly, love having CarPlay and the OEM look. For SR/maybe SR5 you may need an updated dash trim as well from Toyota depending on which radio they originally installed, all non JBL TRD models should work as is.

Do you need the OEM JBL AMP to work with this for -2019 models? JBL model specifically - subwoofer etc.

 

No you don’t have to get the new 2020 JBL amp for this stereo to work but you do need additional wiring. You can order that here. https://www.autoharnesshouse.com/entune.html
