Just moved there from the Santa Clarita area. I knew pretty much every local spot for wheeling up in the SCV, but can't find any out here - everything is fenced off pretty good. Anyone have any spots they want to share in the malibu hills area?

I know all the major spots of the LA area, I'm looking for stuff in my backyard (Malibu hills/Kanan Rd./etc.)

im in the same situation as you, used to live in scv but moved west to that area... going south towards the beach on kanan there are a few short trails in the beggining that lead to nowhere but are fun after it has rained, ive seen alot of steep muddy tracks all over that canyon but havnt ventured back too far yet
let me know if you find anything and wana head back there...

found a sick lil trail today. going from the 101 on kanan, go up the hill on kanan and it will be 2 lanes then back down to one, then while going down the hill its on the right with a forsale sign for like 600 acres or something... saw few LT rangers go that way after me...

There is a gate but its open so that people can check out the property if they wana buy it i guess... I went back about 3 miles but the trails split off and keep going.
saw a coyote and several rabbit, its worth heading back there forsure!
