Can you give me an idea of the cleanup? Pull out the trays and racks to wash, then wipe down the inside?

    Beef cube steak

A couple eggs mixed with some oil (I use avocado oil or olive oil), little bit of half-half and lots of seasoning to style and taste (I went spicy Italian)

Flour mixture (I used almond and chick pea flour 50/50 with a couple tablespoons of corn starch and white flour seasoned and salted to style and taste (I went herbie Italian)

Dust with the flour mix, dunk in the egg mix, repeat until you have a nasty build up.

Place on WELL OILED AF rack, cold. Allow to sit for 30 minutes or not.

Spritz with oil, mist with oil. Whatever you want to call it.

Fire AF up to WFO. You want the thing HOT as it gets.

Throw the rack in and wait like a minute or three. Then pop temp down to 375°F or so

Judge or know or probe 160-180°F or so internal temp

Eat. So tasty and tender. Not greasy at all.

I came up with this last week when I found some cube steaks at the bottom of the freezer from the side of bif we bought last year and they were still great. Damn.

I was not really wanting to spend that much, but I thought, “Self, you already paid for two, the money is spent, return these and get the bigger one. Basically an even trade! You’re a genius problem solver!!”
And that’s how I made my decision :humble:

    It’s good… right??:D

I've had my Gourmia for years and it works and does everything I need it to do. Keep it simple!

It’s fine for my hubbs and myself but not when I have the grandkids…. Which is a lot! If the Gourmia came bigger in the style I have, I’d do that.

Really the only thing i dont like of the Cuisinart one is the cleanup. Especially if you make chicken thighs...its a mess.

Hey guys, Which Air Fryer you like the best? I’m mainly looking to make some fries and maybe 12-15x chicken nuggets for kids. Possible pizza? :D
