    A BMW i7 marketed as a luxury car, and BMW is known for their over engineering. Most of the current EV crop is trying to out luxury the next guy. However, for a basic transportation car I keep reading positive comments the Chevy Bolt owners forums.

    That's BMW's business model. Nothing says I've got money to burn better than buying a car that depreciates like a falling rock. I wonder how many different ways BMW has designed the i7 to fail 15 minutes after the warrantee expires?

    I guess they figure the expenses isn't worth it. Who ever is buying them isn't going to shy away due to not having any front stowage.

    Being a front motor EV, I would not be surprised to see Mazda introduce a midsize, or compact Maverick EV rival for global consumption.

    Trying not to become “political” but musk deserves to see teslas lose sales in my opinion. The whole battery failure (happening to so many owners) at the end of warranty seems like it was built into the software.

    If it comes out this is “dieselgate” for teslas I would be happy. 20k for a new battery!!

    Looks like they’re going the same route as Ford with the Lightning and adding batteries and motors into an existing chassis without a lot of new changes.
