    1998 Toyota Tacoma prerunner
    so my 1998 Tacoma prerunner will krank..... but as soon as the jump boxxx goes off, my truck dies. i just put a brand new battery n it and changed the alternator plug, should i just get a new alternator? ijs, I'm really tired of wasting my time and money.

    Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
    Maybe figure out the problem . Get some local help ask in your local forum.

    Break out the Multi meter and get some real world numbers .

    When you installed the battery did you inspect and clean the battery terminals.

    Without real world voltage anything would just be a guess.

    Are you fully charging the battery with a charger before starting attempts ?

    If your System voltage drops to low the ECM will Shut the engine off.

    So a couple of things you can do if you want to OP, sounds like you may not want too though. Your call of course.
