I'd like my house to be smart without me having to be a freaking IT guy to do it. (oh wait, I am an IT guy). It's not a great solution and I'm morally opposed to putting an Alexa in the bathroom. So if I forget to talk to Alexa before getting in the shower I just have to wait until the ice water gets hot.

I would contact Grundsfos and let them know your system parameters and I'm sure they will help you with the best pump for your set up

Yea all my water and heating lines run right by my panel. Also the 3" ABS line going from the front downspout to the cistern out back run right there. The old Square D split bus panel that was there before I replaced it had an inspection sticker on it. Although, it was 40+ years ago...

in other news, the newly-minted journeyman kid ran his first job, got a green tag despite overstuffing every electrical box. and on the same job, the plumber got a green tag, despite not running water lines to 2 of 3 toilets.

so passing inspection isn't always as hard as they make it seem ;)

I’ve never seen a radius requirement ever, so I’m not sure what code you’re referring to. The NEC is 30” wide minimum working space and doors only have to open to a minimum of 90*.
