They're just pinyons so they're super bushy, which can be a real problem if you don't have a ton of space. I'll pm you guys.

We went and found our tree north of Truckee in the Tahoe NF sierraville ranger district on Saturday, found some good snow in the process. Up to the doors in places and knee deep wading around the hillside for the tree  Surprised to see when we drug the tree back to the truck I noticed real tight growth rings.... 26yr old tree at 9-10ft tall. Must be harsh growing up there in the mountains
Oh and don’t mind the fact that we went up in 2 Jeeps :anonymous:

Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
Whatever gets the job done! We usually take the Honda Pioneer, that way the older kid can drive. But she's learned the right way to hit puddles for maximum soaking of Dad. :/

I wouldn't expect anything less on a Toyota forum, however the Jeep's been more reliable than my wife's 3rd gen Taco so far and I've used the Jeep much harder. :boink:

@RelentlessFab, be fair, when I bought my truck in 2013 there weren't nearly as many options. I'd have a much more difficult time if I were shopping for a replacement now.

My brother has a Gladiator Rubicon and if they were available when I bought my truck I probably would have went with the Jeep. Tacomas are great and all but having F/R lockers and being able to fit 35s or 37s stock or with minimal mods is nice. Either that or the Colorado ZR2. Toyota has fallen so far behind other brands when it comes to the performance of factory off road models.

I considered a base model wrangler unlimited. base model + a few creature comfort packages. but for a daily driver taco wins that battle. plus I feel like taco vs wrangler unlimited with no rear locker would be pretty even with a solid driver. Zr2 colorado too pricey for me but def woulda loved the diesel. And ranger is just a shittier tacoma. New frontier wasnt out when I got my truck. would consider it now. but tacos look better. just wish the drivetrain was a little more enjoyable

Was up visiting my daughter at UNR this weekend and spotted this rig parked a couple spaces over at her apartment. Saw a few other rigs this weekend but didn't think to snap any pics. Came out blurry as the dusting of snow threw the autofocus on the phone off.

Bummer not much snow in town today. But I'll get my fair share tomorrow at northstar. Hoping top half of mountain isnt on windholds most of day like it was today. Good news is: it'll be untouched for me tomorrow

Wakes up at 5:45 and sees 80 closed. Sleep. Wakes at 7:30, 80 still closed. Fuck it I’ll go to heavenly. Sees opening delayed to 11. Ok oh well already over halfway there. Gets there. Worker tells us they’ve got no power. Fuck. Sees that 80 was opened between leaving Reno and getting to heavenly…

Great use of my Sunday morning. Oh well. Got to drive in some snow. I guess I have to skip classes tomorrow to hit northstar since it’s not looking like top half of mountain will open today. There’ll be plenty of fresh lines still
