Good Monday morning crew.
The Fix It Now Team (FIN) has possession of the leak stop clamp and it's ready to be installed. The rig they put temporary on there has got the leak slowed enough that they are going to leave it be. The water leaking is just clean river water so no large concern.
I believe that they also considered the possibility that I mentioned of making the leak worse or even possible breaking the entire pipe off. ( highly unlikely, but considering the weld integrity is questionable..I got them thinking). In the world of Nuclear Power Generation they always make a point to think about what's the worst that can happen.
Haven't been on TW for a time; everything is ok but was a little under the weather (flu like) and then some added stress on the home front, family matters and trying to get wife and son more financially responsible. Best way to put it. My son and his girlfriend have a baby due very soon and my son is looking at 52k dollar new trucks. He's already upside down on the Camaro mom cosign for him, and I have no idea how he's made all the payments on that so far
So there goes the latest happenings in my world
Love my kids and don't mind helping them if they need it...but come on now!
Happy Monday crew! I happen to have Mondays off for my 3 day weekends and it didn't really matter much if I got Friday or Monday so gave counterpart the option.

Exactly.
Thing is I had to work for everything that I have, meaning I didn't have help from parents as an adult.
Mom has a bad habit of caving to son's every want and that's not doing him any favors.
Mom and dad aren't going to be here forever.

I bought a pair of Merrell boots ( more like shoes but composit toe) and some of the inserts like I think @RustyGreen suggested and much prefer those now over my clunky Red Wings. The Merrel I think was mentioned in whatever thread. These Merrell shoes aren't going to last as long as Red Wings but that plantar faciitous isn't bothering me anymore
