On 3rd Gens, even without CarPlay, movies/videos can be put on a USB stick and while parked you can watch movies/videos on the stock head unit.

 

Same, ha ha. I did the biggest & most expensive mod before driving mine off the lot.

 

Installed this start/stop button and outer ring from AJT Designs. Looks good!

 

That's interesting. Never thought of that. Using what feature of the Head Unit? "Media"?

I’ll have to do this from memory. Don’t have the USB stick on me right now. Put the USB stick in and it should read your music directories. I also have a video directory. The menu you can scroll through and the head unit recognizes video files just like music files.

An iPod can also be used for music and videos.

It’s pretty cool seeing video on the screen.

 

So I installed a front bed rail. Shipped it was pretty inexpensive. I purchased these to use with the rail and have put them to good use already.

Guess I'm kinda bias, but glare blockers are my favorite. Because they were cheap (I made them) and because they have since helped pay for a few other more expensive mods!

200 bucks for the fender flares, cheap? I am thinking they will keep some mud off the sides of the truck. I had to modify them to fit the front since I chopped that off a while back.

 

My cheapest mod I’m most proud of. $4 I think. Hit the "Like" button if you can find it on the truck.

I like them fender flares. Mine were a bit more expensive but hey...whatever works!

 

I had posted this in the aftermarket shift knob thread. My shift knob is a $8 cue ball from an Amazon. I drilled a 15/32 hole about 1.5 inches deep and ‘tapped’ it with a m12 bolt. I then counter bored the hole with a 9/16 bit about 3/4 deep to clear the taper on shifter. The trd collar is from 7r41lbr34k3r.

 

Here’s another one. Dang this is hot!

 

Old TV bracket + t-nuts = “Molle Adjacent” hard points.

One of these days I’ll actually get around to bolting something to it. Maybe!
