My wife and I watch her videos, she's pretty funny and usually pretty good content. I started watching her when whe lived in a Prius.

Nice to see everyone’s camping photos on here. Great to gather some ideas for future trips.

Have a question that’s probably stupid to all but just wondering if anyone runs a RTT on the actual roof vs. a bed rack. Just purchased a Frontrunner Slimsport due to their Black Friday sales.

I do a lot of trackside camping and I’m starting to get tired of towing a trailer. Would like to utilize my bed for my bikes instead.

 

my old stomping grounds. i spent a lot of time there as a kid and also as a parent.

 

Its definitely been done before. Not as common due to folks trying to keep center of gravity and air resistance as low as they can

How did you hang those horizontal poles inside your Softopper and what mattress are you using?

 

Spent a couple of nights in the North Maine Woods. Peaceful. Nice to get away. Glad I had a heater.

Here's the first spot I stayed at. A little icy getting in, but I did only one 180 in the Taco. She got just a couple of scratches from the alders I hit.

 

And the 2nd spot is a place called 9 Mile Bridge. The bridge is long gone. I did have a little trouble getting to the site. Cut away a blow down. Had to use 4 low and rear locker to get through the flowage. Water was VERY high due to lots of rain in the area the last couple of weeks. Thought the 3-4 inches of ice would hold me up, but it didn't. Water was up to the rocker panels. Didn't stop to take a picture of the truck. Had to keep up momentum to get through. I think my skid plate acted as an ice breaker.

Awesome. Was that on the East or West side of the river? Ive only been to the East side, and its certainly an interesting ride to get in there haha

 

@LEXICON is that a DAC truck bed tent in your last thread post?

 

East side, never been on the west side either. Have you seen the tramway?
