I didn't realize just how loud my old tires got to be. The new tires are so quiet I can hear everything, including all the shit thats about to break

A buddy of mine Line-X the whole trailer top to bottom and inside and out.
If your looking for an amor protection on anything like bedliner, boat, truck.. or an actual paint job around the TR area he does good work. He color matched my china wacker fender flares few years ago.

Anyone have a tinted windshield? I got ceramic film for heat protection, can’t tell it’s tinted. Went to the inspection station for a new sticker and the guy refused to put it on. Guess I’ll need to cut out a 6x8 section of the tint and go back. Is this difficult to do?

 

No shit? I guess because they cut the old sticker off pretty aggressively right? That sucks I wanted to ceramic tint my front.

 

its illegal in this state to have a tinted front windshield without express written and documented from your doctor stating you need it. Therefore you’d fail for it every time.

 

Illegal? Sure. But this is the first I’ve ever heard of an inspection station refusing to put on a sticker. Usually it’s a fix it ticket from a cop.

 

well nj also doesn’t do safety inspections and is asking for a 6x8 space for a sticker so your logic is invalid.

 

Maybe not the answer you want to hear but I agree with them. What happens to your tint next inspection time when they go to scrape off the old sticker? Wouldn't the tint get ruined?

Been a labor of love for over two years now.

 

Yeah, but it’s not their problem if the tint gets ruined. I asked the guy if he could put it on a sticker shield first and then stick it but refused. Some independent stations will do it but they don’t do new vehicle stickers. I’m just gonna try another station and hope they don’t notice the tint. It will be good for 5 years and I’ll deal with removable then.
