Just saw a video on the Nissen Pro-X ( luxury model). Very impressive, All Leds lights,

Compare to Tacoma -Pro..? Which one offers more for the money? Each one of us will need to decide for ourselves.

In other news, water is wet. The sky is typically blue.

    Oh look, another mod....
    Think of it this way:

The Tacoma is a highly capable, very nicely styled truck that is dependable, reliable and holds it value better than any other truck out there. Then, you have a pile of dog shit with a Nissan badged slapped on it.

Now, make up your mind which you want to buy.

    -You're welcome.

Yup, Nissan makes good stuff. I've always loved the hardbody's and even the new ones now don't look half bad.

I watched a video on it the other day also. had 310HP, looked rather nice inside and out.

My dad has a late 90's one (jas a farm truck) hasn't seen pavement in over a decade. Still running strong.

You won’t get neutral opinions here more than likely. Go drive both and decide for yourself. Both will have faults, pick the one best for you.

also may wanna check out the redesigned Colorado/Canyon twins. Every Canyon comes standard with a 2” lift and the HO motor.

Toyota Tacomas wish they (3rd gens) started using LEDs lights, hood struts, front and rear cameras, auto tailgates locks, and rear disc brakes ( note I was told made from aluminum (not S/S cables).

I believe the reason for my rear brakes sometimes locks up, after I park . Next day day, release the hand brakes, the rear brakes remaining lock up till I reverse. Had both rear E-brakes cables replaced, rear brakes locking occasionally today.

Toyota could have been the leader if they when we what people wanted instead of cutting cost. Reason Tacoma has so much aftermarket parts to improve things.

I still got my 2019 TRD LB with camper. I like this truck, but the aftermarket parts is costing me. Got the cables for auto/ button lock for tailgate and front camera parts at home. Just need someone to install them.

Nissen Frontiers is out shining the Tacomas, and so is the Other brands. Toyota needs to step up its game!

To be the best is to be better then the rest…

I have led lights up front and front and rear cameras.
Don’t give a F about hood struts matter of fact don’t want em. They all fail. And nothing wrong with a rod. Never had an issue with my brakes or the brakes on my 2001 gen 1 with 260k miles.

    Friday came early.

The Pro4X cost more than I want to pay for a Nissan. I have seen some P4X MSRP for around 43-44 and others around 46-48. I think I have seen them listed for 50+. I like the black interior over the red accented interior.

TRD Pro cost more than what I want to pay for a Toyota. Pro is more consistent in pricing.

I still don't get the reviews that say the Ranger is outdated compared to Tacoma and Frontier. Ranger isn't no spring chicken but compared to the other two, Ranger seems to have more modern tech and electronic BS than the other two. Obviously Frontier's facelift is only a year old. Ranger slso has the 2.3 turbo. It's much more complicated and modern drivetrain.

Out of the two I'd say I like the Pro over the P4X, but I'd probably buy a Frontier over a Tacoma.

The most interestin design feature on the Nissan P4X is the side marker in the LED headlight.

& Here we go again with rear disc brake talk lolololol :deadhorse:

But yeah LED's are nice I guess, but not worth buying a new truck for. Hood struts, lol. I have a rear camera as well. I guess I have a front camera too, my eyes. I've never needed a tailgate lock, locks only keep honest people out anyways lol. Rear disc brakes, let's wait till Friday to discuss that one.

I honestly think you would be happy with either, both are fine vehicles. But rather than ask a bunch of Tacoma owning strangers on a Tacoma fanatic internet forum, maybe test drive both and buy the one you like best.

How you say Nissan in old english - Nissin.
The new GM sounds like the better truck. I wouldn't mind having a 1500 short bed 4x4 2.7 GM. Might end up being a POS though.

I had an Xterra from 2006 to 2020.

I loved it. BUT, good luck wheeling that truck with the front diff they put in it. I did a titan swap on my X. And, never buy the first year or two of any new vehicle. And I've never heard of someone buying a truck because it has led lights .

If i know my neighbor that just took ownership of a new frontier pro 4x, it had to be price. He was all hype up with the tacoma's last i spoke with him in the fall. He's all about how much he can get for the same costs.
