Sold! The $500 4runner Rehab

That would be cool, not sure what day yet. We are heading to Socal to do the annual family visits June 10th to the 14th so some time after that.

 

Finally got to the panhard bar brackets. should have did this last August but ran out of time.



For some reason the Panhard bar was bent. Big ass hammer fixed that.

Thanks, it was a fun build. I still have a few things to do.

I took it for about a 2 hour drive yesterday and she drove great.

 

Threw on a set of Cooper Discovery S/T Maxx 255 85 r16s on Mojavi atx 16x8 wheels last night

Also used magic eraser tool on my pixel to fix the holes

 

Updated the Cluster lights to LED huge improvement. Still looking for the climate control lights.

 

finished the LED lights and cleaned all dials and switches on the climate control. Works like new. Still in the hunt for a wood grain bezel and a clock.

 

Cool build, thanks for this. I recently scored a 2002 runner for $400 with a blown trans. I overhauled the trans and I have a feeling that I will be going down this same road too. I was going to sell it after making it road worthy but…

 

That's a good score. That thing would be awesome as manual trans swap and then turn it into a wheeler.

 

That had crossed my mind, but with a turbo T-100 build still being a driving project I decided not to do anymore custom jobs. I did rebuild the trans with Raybestos stage 1 red frictions and a shift kit for possible tow duty in the future if I keep it. I have about $1000 in just trans parts and thanks to @YotaX for the hard parts I needed. If I had to buy planetary sets I probably would have pulled the engine and scrapped the truck
