    I just used a jig saw with a fine toothed metal cutting blade. Put lots of painters tape on the fender so I didn't scratch it with the saw shoe, traced the cut line, drilled a 3/8" hole INSIDE the cut line and went to town. It was easy and went very smoothly. After cutting touch up the bare edge with primer to help prevent rusting.

    i was thinking that I might get a spare fender, paint it myself and use that as the snorkel fender.

    What snorkel kit did you get? I was thinking for my 40th in a few days I’d like one lol.

    Th dobinsons looks exactly like the eBay ones but I may go with the Air raid.

    Welcome to the MD thread. This year I moved out of Maryland and to WV. It's such a great group on here they let me stay. I never raced MX but i use to ride cr500's. I sold all 3 a few years back. Now it's atvs and SxS's but I plan to buy a KTM 690r Enduro to use to explore these little WV mountain towns & trails.
