    Hah, snow shovels...

Yea, if it's 6" or under I'm just driving over it. Put the Outback in X-Mode and the truck in 4WD. I'm not wasting the effort...

That works good for the first snow, when you have banks on both sides not so much.

Fortunately I have snow blowers at 3 of the 4 locations, cuts out most of the hand work.

Can't do that in town, they shovel it for you, bill you and fine you too. :(

Can't do it at home either, the drive is on the north side and gets little sun.

To make it worse it is on both a grade and a slope, I could slide down the drive, then the hill and find myself at the neighbors 1/2 a mile away.

Or take the shorter trip over the bank, it is a long way down.

Well, this one isn't worn out yet... Now.
    :notsure:

I have some with the metal edge, the concrete grinds them quite rough and draggy after a while.

This is why when I was looking for a house my must have was a flat driveway and no sidewalk. My driveway is pretty much all flat with the exception of the side area, but I ain't concerned about that.

The other place I lived at had sidewalks, and I never did those either... :anonymous::rofl:

Dumped some gas in the snowblower, primed her a few time, pulled the cord and she fired right up.

Bring on the snow, hold the ice, please!

I should probably run the gas out of the lawn mower, huh?

It is a good idea with the ethanol fuel.

I use non-e in the snow blowers, walk mower, chipper and any 2 stroke stuff. I use the ethanol stuff in the ZT and other riders, the cost would be pretty high to use the good stuff.

Last tank of the season I dump in some stabilizer, siphon out what I can and then run the rest out so it is dry for storage.

    So far so good. :fingerscrossed:

Mowers don't do jack in snow - I tried.

A good leaf blower works on light snow however.

Mowers don't go well in snow either, the snow piles up in front of the deck like a plow.

I think there is one pump at a station near me that sells ethanol free gas. I can't remember but I don't think that's what's in my can but the next time I fill it, it will be.
I always use stabilizer. Run out whatever is left in the tank from the last time it was used and call it a day.

Also so far, so good. :)

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
It all depends how much snow we get over a foot one of the neighbors uses the 4x4 back hoe to remove as much as possible.

My driveway is uphill not bad in the wee hours when it nice and cold out to the township road.

Coming home in the after noon like a bob sled run 30' of ashes to get stopped. I only ever hit the door one time.
