    Noice!

I think that calls for a nice leather sling. My opinion only.

I've got a Ruger No 1 in 30-06 and 45-70. I use the sling in the post below for both.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
This is exactly what I was looking for.

Agreed, I have seen the slightly longer one for sale. But they don’t last long on the shelf that’s for sure.

I went with the slim version. It's still fairly wide. They don't note the widths on the website. I called to find out.

I paid 1299, got off $100 the sticker and $10 each box of 20rds. Not bad considering I had a hard time getting my hands on the shorter one in SS.

Was purchased from Coopers Trading in Burnsville NC. Owners name is Shannon, good buddy.

I have purchased things and gotten them for a hell of a deal. So when I gotta pay it doesn’t sting so bad ;)

It also pairs well with my knife :)

I've been using a paracord sling from Sportsman's Warehouse on my 45-70 SBL. Works good for me.

I have one of these. I like it a lot. On this trapper I am thinking some kinda leather.. I wouldn’t mind finding one with a couple bullet holders…however those just aren’t practical or rather not sure I wanna loose the ammo.
However, I was given a SW 357 from the 70s. It came with a holster and belt, which has bullet slots all the way around. Pretty cowboyesque!

By chance do you know of someone that makes a scabbard for a 16.5”?
    I found this…but it’s for more like a 24” or longer.

Beautiful gun. I can't vouch for them 100% because I haven't had my hands on one yet but after a fair amount of research I'm ordering a leather sling tomorrow from RLO for my .44 mag Henry.

Nowhere close to 180 days. I just waited 249 days and the wait times increase every week. It’ll be a year in no time flat.

Yep, I waited 187 days for my Nomad Ti and waited 221 days on my free Octane from Silencerco before the FATF sent my app back(with error) because they realized Trust also listed my wife. 7 cans 9 sbr's later and they just now decided it to get her info also.
The agents approving stamps now are still working from home.

All I got from the reading on reddit is, its just a bunch of wankers. Criminals get full autos in 1 hour and law abiding folks get shit on. Voting:jerkoff:

I've thought about that a few times. No one plays tennis, so it wouldn't be a highly sought out target.

@Built2Ride , it isn't what you're looking for, but I have a few of the neoprene butler creek slings. The stretch on them is nice when you're carrying the rifle for any reasonable distance and it holds some extra bullets. The loops are tight and I've never lost a round. in fact, they can be tough to pull out by hand. Maybe they offer a leather version?
