Does anyone here have a subcompact tractor or diesel they use a block heater for? Have a few questions…

Judging from your wood work jobs it would turn out sharp.

    Thanks Rusty!

I haven't been blessed in all areas *looks down at pants*, but am blessed to know all sorts of stuff like woodworking and metal fab. I love those metal working projects at work! I'm the "welder" on my end of the shift at work, even the highest level tech is like "I got something for ya to weld"

I really dislike working with wood (and suck at it) but admire the people who can. :)

Haven't figured out yet what I might be blessed with. :notsure:
I can assure you it has nothing to do with my *wardrobe*... :pout:

Hmmm, it seems so. Butt, we're talking about regular wood, not morning wood. :D

It's late...and I'm hungry...I'm blaming that for being unable to contain my childish mind.

First year with a subcompact, brand new block heater installed as apparently the old one went. Is it safe to plug it in the night before use? Max plug in time would be less than 18 hours. I just don’t want to burn out a brand new heater, or cause any issues.

From my time in WY, we plugged all our block heaters in as soon as we were done using equipment (tractors, loaders, backhoe, feed truck) for the day. It stayed plugged in until the next morning when we needed to use them again. -25 to -30 some nights.
