Starts and immediately stalls but does not turn off

Ok, so my 2019 tacoma on the first sart of the day when cold starts fine but it will immediately stall as if it wants to shut off but somehow manages to stay running then it wont do it again until it is sitting for hours off or the next day. We scanned for misfires and nothing came up, we checked battery, altenator, starter and anything that we think may cause this but everything comes out ok. Has anyone gone through this or know what ma be causing this?

 

How old are the spark plugs?

 

Had the fuel pump recall done?

 

60k 2019 6 cil. Spark plugs are stock.

2019 model 60k miles. Yes once it starts and runs it will not stall or indicate misfires at all until it is cold again usually the next morning.

 

Interesting, to me that kinda rules out a bad fuel pump. I would suspect a clogged fuel filter, but our trucks don't have a serviceable filter. You shouldn't have a dirty throttle plate or MAF sensor but you can check them to rule them out. You probably have a new air filter. A vacuum leak could also explain your symptom. Check around the brake booster and vacuum lines. Borrow a vacuum gauge if you can.

 

Ill be checking MAF tomorrow just to rule out. Also for any leaks. Thanks for advice ill keep posted for updates. This is strange one. Weve checked almost everywhere, scanned, no chrck engine light, it runs fine afterwards no stalls or rough idling whatsoever. Its just at that first start. Thank alot

 

Following, my truck does this lately.

 

If you have a rodent problem, check the air filter air duct for a rodent nest. The South Main Auto dude cleared a squirrel nest out of a Tacoma air duct. Truck also had some wiring damage.

 

Checked MAF, vacuum leaks and everything pulled fine.
We are really scarrching our heads here. Not to brag but the engine and maintenance on my truck is on point. Wirings and all. The onlye thing lsft to check would be fuel pump, filter and pressure if that makes sense?!?!? Not sure.
