Do any here have experience with the Weathertech mud flaps? If so, how do they compare to the OEM parts?

They fit fine. Easy install. I am unable to compare with OEM though.

I have them at the front for few years. They are slimmer compare to "boxy" oem. Otherwise look identical

Are they more or less flexible than OEM?

I would say the same. Pretty ridged. OEM designed as "[" (hence "boxy") vs WT "I'.
WT is wider by roughly 1.5".
They will be ripped off of the mounts if you drag them over an obstacle.

They look great, but collect grit underneath. So it is best to remove them for cleaning the flares or fenders periodically. They will rub if you go up one tire size. Had them for the first two years and then swapped them out for Rok Blokz which are way more flexible, before running without all together.

Thanks for that. I’ve gone one size wider with my Cooper AT3’s and would rather not have flaps at all than to have the tires rub. I’ll probably never do any real off roading, and my only concern was snow/ice during the coming winter months.

In my experience with them, they are slightly wider, but not as long as the OEM flaps. I’ve had both on second and third gen Tacomas. I prefer the Weathertech flaps.

The more flexible mud flap makers are preferred by many here. RokBlokz and Rekgen come to mind.

I've had OEM, Weathertech, and now cheap knockoffs from Amazon with no issues from any off them, however I do not off-road. No complaints!

Anybody use Husky flaps? Just got delivered a set from Amazon. Not installed yet because they were a day late…and Missouri is covered in snow today! But if they’re junk I can send them back.

Cannot say enough good things about my TuffSkinz. They are a softer material so will have some forgiveness to them. They are also adjustable which is nice to add some extra protection against rocks.
