I think Nissan has gone way down hill over the past 10 years or so. Early 90's late 80's were prob there golden years. To be honest I am surprised Infinity is still around.

Maybe there golden years for sports cars were late 80's early 90's. I don't think people for the most part can doubt there reliability and resale value. Also those people can say what they want....they are still wrong

Aren't the Nissan engines only DGI? That is not a selling point to me.

Does the Nissan have that neato retro 1950’s oil filter?

If I'm not mistaken, it is DGI and port injected. It has 12 injectors instead of six. Sort of like a built in cleaning cycle. It switches between both.

tacoma comes in manual thats all I need to know. Also the aftermarket support and options for tacomas is miles ahead of the frontier.

Who will be the next “King of Midsize 4x4”? The competition is growing The Rangers, Chevy, GMC, are coming out ready to go “mean off roaders” . from Factory.
32”, 33” & 35” tires are being offer direct from factory. Toyota is falling behind. Cab mount chops?

I like a locking diffs that can go over 5 miles per hour…hood struts, 4-disc brakes disc brakes..etc..

Nissen Pro-X bed has three rails for cargo, Toyota- just two. Plus Nissen has a full metal bed, no need for bed brackets…. But I will keep my Tacoma…

I've had Redline hood struts on three cars, over 10 years each. Never had a strut fail.

The new Frontier is nice, but no manual. Besides that, the interior is honestly nicer. Nissan is Nissan at this point though. A sub-prime auto seller with questionable quality randomly sprinkled into their line-up. The Frontier is probably going to be solid, but it's a risk with Nissan at this point.

Don't forget the nismo V8 Titan swap that can be done at the dealer to retain the full factory warranty. Toyota won't even put a supercharger on your Tacoma any longer.

    A few.
One owner just posted this on a Nissian Frontier FB group that i belong to:

    2022 Frontier Pro4X - First 10,000 miles issues I have experienced:
At around 900 miles - Dashboard lit up with all fault lights and went off at next restart - No codes from ECU
    TCM & Parking Pawl recall
Sunroof broke whilst driving (nothing touched it)
Dashboard lights - Service AT est. 8900 miles (went off on next restart) no codes from ECU
Steering Rack Loose (Noise when turning) - Retorqued by Dealer
Doors lock (security issue)? and have to use the physical key although other doors are unlocked - strange one...
The one that has never gone away is being able to keep the SSID for my Truck's Wifi (still an issue)
