They take fuel samples from the tank when your being inspected.

Most times being focused on checking the fuel.

Update on those parts I talked about, sharp corners on tough material. Diamond Amorphous coatings help. Still eating a tool a part, but its better than a handful.

Pulled into the dooryard at the garage and spotted this fellow facing south sunning himself.

The truck is mine, the cat is not.

I'm spoiled. I have readily accessed 90 octane ethanol free fuel, about 25 minutes from here. It's usually a dollar a gallon higher than 87. I have ran it in the Tacoma a couple times and it really runs well on it. Just too darn expensive to fill it up when it's at a 1/4 tank o_O

The last couple times I got some offroad diesel a truck with regular Pennsylvania Truck Tags (like my truck) pulled up and filled up their truck with offroad. I just stared and quietly judged them.

I had a 150 gallon tank at my parents I would get filled with off road diesel when I had a cab tractor and skidsteer. Left the tank and electric fuel pump on it when I moved. That was 12+ years ago :)

I just run on road diesel in the tractor now. Don't burn much anymore.
